Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)
Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts are most often awarded for services. Awards are granted for base years with follow-on option years. The government places delivery orders (DOs) for supplies or task orders (TOs) for services against a basic contract for individual requirements. Minimum and maximum quantity limits are set in the basic contract.
